Role Summary

The Head of Transactions plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s acquisition and investment activities from initial sourcing through closing and post-transaction coordination. This individual is responsible for developing and managing deal flow relationships, supporting transaction execution, coordinating diligence efforts, and serving as a key point of contact between clients, legal counsel, accounting teams, lenders, brokers, and other third-party advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and cultivate proprietary and intermediary-driven deal flow opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, brokers, investment bankers, lenders, attorneys, accountants, and strategic partners
  • Coordinate and manage the transaction process from pre-LOI through closing
  • Facilitate communication among clients, legal counsel, accounting firms, lenders, insurance providers, and diligence teams
  • Manage due diligence timelines, deliverables, data rooms, and transaction checklists
  • Assist with LOIs, CIM reviews, buyer qualification materials, and transaction documentation
  • Coordinate financial, operational, legal, and compliance diligence requests
  • Support negotiations and follow-up discussions with counterparties and advisors
  • Maintain ongoing client communication and relationship management throughout the lifecycle of the transaction
  • Assist with post-closing integration coordination and transition activities as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, investment banking, business development, corporate development, or transaction advisory
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active transactions simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating with attorneys, accountants, lenders, and diligence providers
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
